Mediterranean Diet? Have you tried it?
Morning! I read the article posted by SML on “Menopause Brain Fog: Is It Real?” and found it really interesting. I’m thinking of giving the Mediterranean Diet suggestion a try. Has anyone here tried it? Did it help with cognitive clarity/menopause brain fog? I’d love to hear how you manage shopping and meal prep to keep things on track. Any tips or advice would be fantastic!

I’ve been on the Mediterranean diet for a few months and have definitely noticed some positive shifts in my energy and mental clarity!
Here are my top 3:
- I find that planning meals for the week every Sunday helps me stay organized and on track.
- Buying staples like nuts, seeds and whole grains in bulk is a money & time saver!
- Frozen vegetables are nutritious and can be a great option for quick, affordable nutritious meals!
It can feel like a lot at first, but it does get easier. Your health is worth investing in - you’ve got this!!

🙋🏻♀️ also loving the Mediterranean diet! I spend a little time on the weekend chopping veggies and storing them in airtight containers. Makes meal prep during the week so much faster and helps me avoid reaching for processed snacks
Hot tip - EVOO is a fantastic substitute for butter!

I think switching to a Mediterranean diet has been the best thing for my health, even beyond menopause! I started by tweaking my favorite recipes instead of doing a complete overhaul. For example, my beef spaghetti with white noodles and Parmesan became a green-lentil spaghetti sauce, then I switched to whole wheat noodles, and finally, I used vegan almond Parmesan instead of the regular cheese. Doing it this way felt way less overwhelming and gave me time to get used to new flavors and cooking methods. Just take it one step at a time—you’ve got this! 1
