    Hi Tracey,
    Good on you for prioritizing your health and taking steps to minimize your risk! Like you, I have a family history of osteoporosis and am also taking steps to keep my bones healthy. Sharing a new strategy I’m trying. A few months ago, I invested in a weighted vest. I use it during daily activities like walking my dog and for an extra boost while strength training.

    Hi Tracey,

    Happy to share. I did quite a bit of research before buying mine. Most of what I read suggested starting with a vest ~ 5% to 10% of your body weight. I choose one that fit me snugly (mine has adjustable buckle straps in the front) but still allows me to move around comfortably. Hope this helps!
