I was reading somewhere that it has to do with our female hormones dropping, but our testosterone staying the same - so now we smell like men - Augh! I have tried tons of natural deodorants and am currently using Native. It smells alright but leaves that horrid underarm streak on my shirts.. Anyone know of one that doesn't do this?

I have tried all the menopause suggested ones – I just found HELLO, the charcoal deodorant one. I am so happy! I also found I have been super sensitive to perfumes since “the change” so the scent works for me and works better than all the other clinical strength ones I tried.

Girl, yes! I totally noticed the same thing around 45. It’s so weird, right? I swear, my sweat smells different now. I started using a stronger, natural deodorant, and it’s helped a lot. Also, drinking more water seems to make a difference for me. You’re definitely not alone!

Oh, I hear you! I thought it was just me. My body odor changed completely, and it was so confusing at first. My friend said it’s due to hormonal shifts during menopause. I switched to a clinical-strength deodorant and started using an antibacterial body wash, and it’s made things better. We all go through this, and there are definitely solutions!

I’ve noticed this too, especially after I turned 50. In my culture, we use natural remedies like neem powder or turmeric to cleanse the skin and reduce odour. Also, cutting down on spicy foods has helped me. It’s a journey, but there are ways to manage it!

OMG, YES! I thought I was the only one! I smell like a teenager again, but not in a good way 😂. I started carrying extra deodorant with me everywhere. On the bright side, it’s nice to know it’s all part of this lovely menopause journey, right?

Interesting! I haven’t noticed any change in smell, but I’m definitely taking notes from all these tips in case it happens to me later on. Thanks for sharing, and good luck!

This happened to me too. From what I’ve read, the hormonal changes in menopause can lead to increased sweat production and even change the way it smells. For me, switching to breathable fabrics like cotton and using a magnesium-based deodorant helped a lot.

I totally relate! I’ve been there. I started using essential oils like tea tree and lavender, and they’ve helped neutralize the odor. Plus, I make sure to eat clean and avoid processed foods, which can sometimes make the smell worse. It’s all about balance!

You’re not alone! I’ve had the same issue since hitting menopause, and it can be so frustrating. I found that using an antiperspirant and reapplying during the day really helps. It’s just one of those things our bodies go through during this phase, but we’re all in it together!

Yes! It’s been a real issue for me too. Honestly, showering twice a day and using a super-strong deodorant has helped, but it’s not perfect. Hang in there—it’s just another part of this crazy ride we’re all on!

Welcome to the club! 😅 My sweat has a whole new personality since menopause hit. I’ve been trying out different natural deodorants and body wipes to stay fresh throughout the day. It’s annoying, but at least we can laugh about it!

I’m with you! I struggled a lot with this, but I had to remind myself that my body is just adjusting to a new phase. It’s helped me to focus on staying hydrated and using natural remedies like witch hazel. You got this!

Yes! Welcome to “puberty 2.0”. As our hormones change that can affect the bacteria that live on the skin- so sometimes we get more of the stinky bugs. Washing with a tea tree oil under arms can be helpful as well as finding a deodorant that works (the one I used for ages now doesn’t work with my body in perimenopause). Sigh.. The hunt continues.

Don’t know if anyone else has this, but my sweat smells 100X worse when I’m having a stressful day – and the deodorants can’t keep that stress sweat contained! So lately I’ve been focusing more on stress reduction and it’s helped a little. I’ve been loving adaptogenic teas. Yogi’s calming blend with chammomile, skullcap, and lavendar is the current fav.
